    Hi Guys

Hope its OK to enquire on the forum. I'm looking for a pair of original MK1 vinyl seats in blue. Need to be tidy, doesn't matter if the diaphragms have gone  or the sponge has disintegrated, just no tears.  Also if anyone had a pair of the original period Britax inertia reel seat belts, the alloy body ones.

    Thank you
    Dazzer

Anybody know where the resistor wire is on a Mk2 facelift and can it be by-passed easily ? Got an S  that's going to be fitted with a 123 Dizzy so need a 12 Volt feed to the new coil ( DLB 105 ) Thanks .

    Are you slacking?................ ;)

I agree with Alec totally, the heat build up in the Lucas pumps is as much to do with a poor supply to the pump as anything else. Under voltage heats the pump up.
I have never had problems on my pi because of the Lucas pump.

  6. Just thought be of some use...........

My sidelight switch was a bit temperamental at times and as Dazzer say's does make the back lights play up but so does the dimmer switch..............which is also a good pointer to let you know that if the instrument clusters are not lit up you have no rear lights but may  have fronts.

Anyway, I recently took off the dip switch to try on my MK1 estate and all lights where working perfectly on the PI beforehand but when I replaced the dip switch I had no sidelights and no rears.
Rather than fumble about taking the switch out for clean and inspection, I just sprayed some Electical cleaner/ degreaser (Centron) between the swiches and bingo!.............. they now rock more freely.
