I'm very interested in a Triumph Stag, Mk 1 or Mk2, manual or auto in a traditional Stag colour, my preference is Green, Red, Blue or white. I’m looking for a good example where the engine has been rebuilt and fully balanced with an electric fan upgrade to go with an overhauled cooling system. Good body work and chrome.

I'm new to the Stag world and looking to purchase a nice example of a Stag, maximum budget is around £22,000, I like the feel of the manual gear box but ultimately I'm looking for a nice drive with minimal major issues. Any advise would be much appreciated especially on the build quality of the MK1 or MK2 and the reliability of the manual and auto versions.
