its a standard 1300.in bits at the minute so ill try all suggestions in the summer when she comes out of hibernation.cheers

thanks guys for the advice.maybe cos i havnt used one i didnt know what to expect.i was thinking it was something like a cruise control so ill try some of the advice offered ie go to 3rd gear dip the clutch engage it and see what happens cheers

hi everyone.stupid question but can anyone explain how an overdrive works.ive never had one before and ive got one on my 13/60 herald.problem is i cant work out when its on or off.if i flip the swich when driving it seems to loose power .does that mean its on.no sarcastic comments please.its a genuine question.thanks

hi everyone.i have seen heralds with a fabric roll back roof but i cant remember what the roof was called.i know it was specifically for herald/vitesse etc.does anyone know anything about it as i fancy having one fitted to my 13/60.thanks to anyone who can help.cheers

no photo at the minute.ive sussed out all the wiring.just gotta find a way of fitting it.radio also works so if it chews up the cassettes,ive still got music.cheers

thanks rob.i dont have any fittings in the car such as the plastic housing youre on about.there is a hole where the back door pocket used to be and i suspect at some time someone fitted a radio into there.(only suitable if its remote controlled or someone in the back).

hi to everyone.someone gave me a huge bag full of cassettes so naturally i got a 2nd hand cassette player.i wired it in temperarilly and got it working.my issue now is how to fix it.ine seen some triumphs with a piece under the dashboard made of similar wood to the dash and wondered if you can buy these.its a herald 13/60 by the way.any ideas would be welcome as obviously the underside of the dash is hardboard so wouldnt support it.cheers
