  1. Thank you for your replies, sounds like it's normal. I was worried that there is something wrong or I was doing something wrong. I will try priming the fuel pump and see what happens but as Rosbif said "the good side it gives the oil pump a head start getting oil pressure up" Thanks again 🙂
  2. Hi my name is Max and I have just joined the club as I just bought my first classic which is a 1966 Herald 12/50. I'll be asking a few questions and hope that some can help! 🙂 I am driving my Herald everyday at the moment and store it in the garage when not in use. My first issue I have which could be me, is that it's struggling to start from cold. I have tried not using the choke a few turns and when it fires i pull the chocke. I also tried chock straight away but that makes no difference. Is this normal that they take a few turns to start. Is it me doing something wrong and not starting properly or is there something wrong with it? It seems to take ages to start. Ones it starts and warms up it's fine, also no issues starting from warm. Thanks in advance!
