Hi all,im replacing the front oil seal on a herald [nut with split pin] ive removed the original metal cased seal and the new one arrived today. The new one is thinner than the original,do i knock it in untill its flush with the top of the diff housing or knock it down further untill it stops on the small lip? Many thanks

  6. Many thanks, yes they do stick out at the bottem one appears worse than the other however they do require replacement due to corrossion. They are baddly hollow in the middle with louds of filler and hammer blows, not sure if tub spread or just really badly fitted?i take it i should replace properly with correct angle@is it best to do these panels with scuttle and doors in situ???

  7. Hi all,im currently doing a body off refurb.i noticed when purchased that the doors seemed to be either set in to far or to proud to the rear tub alignment,i new there was rust around that area so was not to concerned.ive now removed paint and filler between doors and rear wheel arch to find that this area has previously been replace but a total bodge, the repair panels are not angled correctly.Does any body know of a body profile from top of wing to bottom of replacement panel showing correct profie shape or possible solution i know this is probably a stupid question but im sure someone may have an answer.Regards Neil
