  1. Hi all   MKII stag with RV8.....   1 inch lower front springs....standard rear springs.  New shocks all round.   the rear ride height is uneven...Near side is approx 3/4 inch higher than offside.   any suggestions/advice on cause/fix would be greatly appreciated    Many thanks
  2. Thanks Guys. Done it.  Swapped out the old milled down RV8 inlet manifold for a JWR dual plane Offy with a drop base 14 inch dia air cleaner......the bulge is no more.
  3. Hi all Got hold of a pair of BMW E46 coupe seats.....Even when powered down to the lowest position they were too high. I mounted them on to the Stag runners.....Phooodoo....still too high. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Suggestions welcomed......might even end up re-trimming the originals but I really want the comfort of a modern seat.
  4. Hi all I've just removed my old (twin) choke cable and fitted a single cable to my Holley carb.  Can anyone advise on how to refit the choke cable switch. I couldn't really see how it was fitted to the original cable.  Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks LB
  5. Hi all Thanks for the comments/feedback.  Good to see that practicality and comfort are taking precedent over originality. Long may it continue

  9. Hi all Has anyone swapped their front seats for a more comfortable alternative?  I'm really looking for something with more lumbar support. Any suggestions and pics would be appreciated Thanks
  10. Hi GT6 M Can you recommend one....and can it be used in conjunction with the gasket?
  11. Excellent....many thanks Richard and all. Very much appreciated Regards LB
  12. Thanks Guys couldn't see the number on the main housing but number on the ali cover is 305721(see attached images) thanks again Regards
  13. Hi all I was just about to refit my diff cover, but......the gasket doesn't fit. Does anyone recognise this unit?   Any advice/comments would be appreciated. MIi 1976 - Rover V8 conversion. Thanks Les
  14. Hi Can anyone advise on where I can pick up a discreet power bulge?  I have a rover V8 conversion fitted with a holley 390.  The bonnet thats on the car has a very crude scoop grafted to it which I would be pleased to see the back of. Thanks Les
  15. Thanks Richard I'll give him a bell.  Probably worth taking it apart to determine exactly what needs changing.  I've done the drag strut bushes along with the anti roll bar and drop links.  But the car is sitting really high at the front.  I suspect that the struts have seized, as its not been driven since 1990, so the more I prod around, the more I find to replace.  Still, I l
