  1. You do love the colour black....even you mail box is black. ;)  Good looking playset.  I built a permanent one at our old house.....6 months before my wife decided we should move.

Your car is looking very good.  I'm hoping to get to mine next year.....this year is a write off with all my time being drained away on more pressing issues.

you mean the little connector between the two ends of the trim? if so...it's not on because I "misplaced" it the day I was installing, and that small little bugger is impossible to find in the huge mess in my garage :)

Speaking of messy garages.  I got a flyer in the mail the other day.......this company specializes in redoing garages....new flooring and ultra heavy duty cabinets.  I suspect the price is more than I'm willing to pay as I could do the cabinets myself........but they do have some interesting photos and videos on their website which might give you  a few ideas for garage de-cluttering.  I have been seriously pondering  installing cabinets in ym garage to keep things tidy.
Here's the linka dn I will give the usual disclaimer.....I have no interest in this company etc.

I just checked out that link you posted. Price is great (about $30US for a pair of them) but shipping is the killer (about $45US for the pair of them!!).

Anyone in the UK want to buy them for me and ship them cheaper, or I'll pick em up when I'm in the UK in December? :)

But if you install them you car won't be concours original.   ;)

It's been over 12 years since I drove this car, so I'm a bit anxious and will admit to taking some shortcuts here and there. You, on the other hand, get to drive your car rather than work on it...which I envy!

My car still needs a new master brake cylinder etc before it can be inspected to complete the importation process and be legal in Canada (I imported it from the US)...so for now I can't insure it.  The importation inspection is very much like an MOT for our UK friends and is a one time only inspection, but I do know my car would fail in it's current state.
So I can't drive my GT6.....that leaves me stuck driving my 928GT.
It would be fun to bomb about in the GT6.

anything jdm makes your car go faster!?!
i don't think i've ever seen those marker lites, must be ukdm?
i have to admit i like them though

No apologies needed......I'm into other cars as well and I know the term JDM.....I'ma  big fan of the 2nd GEN Mr2's.  I was jsut having a brain-fade and couldn't remember what JDM meant.

......I guess being on a Triumph forum did little to jog my memory.

moving along with some interior, carpeting, got one side of the car sanded and rattle-canned, put some trim and lighting back on.....

some exterior shots on the "good" side of the car. The other side and hood are still primer and have more sanding to do on them...

Very nice.....but those front marker lights just won't do....   ;)
Come on....you know you want to....
