Weird thing is, I have replaced the caliper with a new one. So the pads should just go back in....

Hi all,

I have a Lotus 7 which has type 12 Herald disc brakes on the front.

My problem is the front RH caliper has cracked and I have replaced it with a new one, now the brake pads will not fit back in to the caliper. They barely fit and grind on the disc.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.
