Evening, Just looked at what i needed to do to enter the BCC Santa Special Rally on the 10th December 2017, using the link to events on this forum it has taken me to the BCC home page where it says the event has been postponed to the 21st January 2018. Im not sure the reason(s) why, will the club still honour points awarded if entered? Cheers Nathan

My work load has been hectic over the last few weeks, ive had the application filled out ready to send, i just havent had the chance, is it worth me sending it down to you for the reserve list? If you could let me know and ill get into the post tomorrow morning along with a cheque. Be gutted if we cant compete as it means we will loose points, my own fault though so no worries of not. The front suspension is to soft and the subframe hits the road before it hits its bump stops, the other thing is the exhaust is really close to the floor so that takes a battering to especially on the little country roads that have grass/mud etc in the middle. The plan is to raise the suspension, fit some longer bump stops to the front shocks, hopefully some stiffer shocks all round and fit a sump guard. Work is progress and a learning experience all round with every rally done.

Thanks to Nigel and Dale for a great 3CR, very challenging but some great roads to navigate on, hopefully we will be having another go on the Essex winter rally. Need to sort the car as its way to low, trying to catch up on the timed section we nearly smashed the Diff to bits when the car nose dived into a dip in the road 🤔 Dale, ill get you another OS map and post it down to you, thanks for your help with that yesterday. Just received my club magazine through the post and I can see an entry form for the 3CR. I've looked and can't see any info for it on the forum. Anyone got any information? Start times, start venue, finish times, mileage etc Thanks.

Absolutely brilliant day, really enjoyed it, being our first rally it was a lot harder than anticipated but mainly because we didn't know navigators launguage and we had to learn as we went, plus the fact my semi pro navigator pulled out at the last minute, massive thanks to stewart for standing in! A lot learnt and a lot of learning to do for me and some modifications to the car for the next one! Thanks to John for taking the time to set it up and manage the event! Looking forward to seeing some of the photos when there published. Nathan.
