Is there some trick I’m missing for getting the knob off a light switch for a MK3 spitfire

ive tried pushing something in the hole and pulling but to no effect 🤷‍♂️

one thing i would add is that we all work slightly differently and there isn't a one size fits all solution

All welding, from B post back has been done , underside under sealed and finished 

some minor finishing touches to rear wing’s left, before it gets painted 

Here are some pictures of the one I’m Doing, I’ve owned it for years but only started doing it the last 2 years, pretty much every panel will have been replaced or repaired 

my welding skills have greatly improved 

Following installation of gearbox 

propshaft fitted

clutch slave fitted and new pipe connecting it to the master 

new brake line fitted connecting front and rear brakes

NS radius arm fitted 

more lower wing/sill repairs

where abouts inn Ringmer  will you be . i'll be in my shop first thing on the 19th

Smiths will be fine for those, watching a jaegar speedo and rev counter on flea bay , dashboard is sorted, thanks 

I know I can pop in at winns and Geof will have them , but I thought I’d ask here as we all know we’ve all got bits lurking that we will never use,, you only have to walk round the stall at stoneleigh for evidence of that

as my mk3 rebuild is getting nearer the end,,,i'm starting to look at interior needs..i'm after a dash and dials/instruments  WHYG

Bump

The weldathon continues tomorrow 

car now has had new boot floor, rear valance , both floors and both sills plus numerous sections let in 

As I never went to the drivers meeting,because until 6 days before the event I wasn’t even entered 

I got a call to fill a seat due to the entrant being let down 

Floor is in and lower A post repair 

tomorrow will see the sills going in and a bit of a weldathon , driver’s door is now off being painted 

This was a question on my mind too

Tomorrow’s plan is to have the new passenger flooring tacked in

A fabulous RBRR , in Luke Johnsons saloon,hats off to the organisers for another running of the premier CT event 

great to catch up with old friends and , hopefully, make a few new ones
