Is it problematic to have higher oil pressure?

Look again at that apparent dribble the windscreen as it is often not the cause. drain holes in the wing can be blocked or wiper boxes can fill up and.overflow.

if you have a piece of flexible hose in the fuel line ( as i do) you can just clamp the line.


... or you could turn the hill around?

The scary thing is... that's all you wear when you're driving (apart from a flat cap of course)




In your car I recommend 55psi.

Actually, I detached the belt years ago intentionally*. I have SR steering now (Spinach Replacement).

... but I agree with the comment on the higher tyre pressures (although not with resto-sorbs of course) - I was advised to do this and it helps I run 32.

If you can't be arsed to renew the top mounts try squirting some lubricant through the top of the strut mount... that's what i've done. I thought you replaced yours relatively recently though... maybe I dreamt it  :B

I was warned off the roller bearing mounts 'cos they'll be twitchy on the rough stuff  :-/ not a problem for you fellas in ring-road land I suppose.

And tons of pressure, too! Nearly put my back out doing that I think.

You probably don't care, but I expect you'll have to repaint the propshaft if its balanced professionally

Having tried 205/13s on the rear of a GT6 (rotoflex) and then gone back to 185 I can verify that the car felt far far better on 185/13s. Much more predicatble back end and able to scare the hell out of a passenger without scaring other road users, too ;-)

James Elliot must be the person who came up to me the weekend before 10CR and started talking to me (andy and I were showing the 2000 off and collecting sponsorship at Cadwell Park). If you want I can do this too, seeing as i'm doing about a dozen different reports (i.e. a dozen different introductions!)
The laptop will be taken home this weekend by the looks of it!
Someone hurry up and organise another trip ... i'm getting restless!!!
