  1. Hi Paudman have sent you a PM Norm
  2. I have a 63 Herald 1200, just been checking my Dynamo & have spotted there is a chunk of the Plastic Fan Pulley missing, mine is a combined Fully & fan in Plastic which is approx. 5 inches diameter at it widest part, just wondering if any forum members have a spare dynamo that might have a pulley fan they don't need, I have looked on fleabay but they are showing dynamos when all I need the Pulley fan bit, any help would be appreciated. Thanks Norm

  4. Hi, I have spoken to Honeybourne, good news is they can supply just the passenger side but it is going to take them around 4 weeks to manufacture, would like to get the car ready for MOT & use and so is there any chance some kind Forum reader might have a spare one lurking in their garage. Norm
  5. I am hoping a Forum reader might be able to help me, my Herald 1200 is currently under restoration unfortunately I have just discovered I am missing the Rear quarter Valance on the N/Side or Passenger side I have the other side plus the centre part in fibreglass, just wondering if anyone might be able to sell me a Nearside Fibreglass Quarter Valance. I know they are available from Honeybourne but they are sold in pairs. Thanks Norm
  6. With regard to the Fuel Line can I ask a question to forum members, I have a Herald 1200 & where the Fuel line exits the boot area I was wanting to find out should this hole have a rubber grommet in position, if my grommet is missing can anyone tell me has this item a specific part number or if not what size it should be (car is away from me at moment so can't measure myself) Any help would be appreciated. Norm
  7. Another question about the Petrol Tank on my Herald, I need to fit a large Grommet or some kind of spacer seal in the large hole underneath where the Tank fits, I have spoken to Bill at Rarebits who thinks these are available but he isn't sure where from does any one have an info on where I can get this item. Many Thanks Norm

  9. Hi, I am wanting to fit my refurbished Fuel Tank into my 1200 Herald, it's been out for sometime so am struggling to remember how it's fastened to the interior of the boot, can anyone post a close up photo of this so that I can complete this task, I am sure there is some kind of L shaped bracket arrangement involved. Any assistance would be appreciated as I am determined to get my car back on the road. Norm

Thanks for the responses, I have checked Halfords Web Site but could,nt find an 036 Battery, they did have an HB063 Halfords Brand Battery for £59.99, is this the correct battery, can anyone check & advise if this 063 is correct for a Herald or any other recommendations. Thanks Norm
  11. I need to purchase a new battery for my Herald 1200, can anyone recommend a good battery that will fit my Herald O.K and give decent service, make & model please. Thanks Norm
  12. Thanks Bill for the reply, so if my understanding is correct the rivet meets the side window seal in other words the rivet side is towards the rear of the car. Cheers Norm
