  1. What a can of worms we've opened !

when i did the GT6 ALL cylinders were new, and the questions were asked are your seals compatable with silicone fluid, along with the brake lines, servo unit, the calipers were sent to https://www.bcs-automotive.co.uk/#/

"BCS" did come back to me and point out that the rear drums would fade with use, but to date, they were done in July 2015 the drums and calipers are still red,

  2. Well all went fine until i filled up with fuel £1.80 per ltr what a rip off...

then on the way home the car wouldn't rev round to 6k and the speed wouldn't go over 50mph, I had cyclist queuing behind me, and cramp in my right foot I just couldn't push the peddle down

  3. Gland, no I didn't find a break I only had 40/50mm of Pink wire each end, as I didn't want to cut open the loom to investigate further, When I back tracked my order for the loom I gave a Rimmer's part number for a non ballasted loom, now when I checked back the guys email quote is a different part number, I only went with him because Rimmer's where out of stock, I took it for granted that I got a non ballasted loom, It has always had 12v coils, Many thanks again for your help

  4. Gland the small white in the photo (above post) connects to the Pink, in my case just behind the battery and below the fuse box,  ( you can see it in the photo) then along towards the dip stick to where the two White / Yellow wires joined one to the coil and the other to the starter relay. Now the starter relay wire has been terminated not used any more, and the White / Yellow to the coil has been terminated not used any more, now the White from fuse box to the Pink,  has been disconnected and a new White has been joined in behind the battery where I found the joint  to the coil,

( the Pink has been terminated no longer in use) and after my first test drive all is grand, also I've now lost the misfire above 3500/4000 rpm

Gland, Rob many thanks for your wisdom and help

  5. thats the mystery, its in there somewhere, I have two whites coming out of the fuse box, and two on the ing switch, one measures 2.5ohms to the pink, i have just reconnected every thing as it was when i broke down, and it started, now with the engine running I have 12v each side of the coil

  6. So am I reading you correct, can I solder the w/yellow wires back together, that will be the connection   between the coil +ve and the starter relay, make the pink safe, (not use)

then pick up a ignition "on" continuous feed (new wire ) to the coil +ve as well

my head is beginning to hurt
