  1. Hi all, I am in the process of restoring my family's car, a 1968 MK1 2000, and it is currently at the workshop for the last finishing touches (chromes) after the repaint (triumph white - 19). Unfortunately, the electrician in the garage had the front ashtray completely removed from the dashboard and i am not aware how to reassemble it.  Can anyone share a photo that shows the placement of the internal parts that help the tray stay firmly in place ? The tray could not be removed if pulled outwards, and also it stopped when you pushed it all the way inwards. I found one metal part. Perhaps i am missing more metal parts from the mechanism?
  2. @thescrapman: indeed, I had seen the prices there and I could not press 'order'. for double the price you get a full car and in respectable condition! But that is how it is, when there is ellipsis in parts. @DJB_Harvey: I sent you a pm, thanks. I hope that in the near future there will be a supply of new repressed parts. Although I understand that in order to accomplish this there is a need for a sufficient number of orders.
  3. is needed...Either wing or the repair panel.. If anyone has either of the two please pm me! thank you Faidon
  4. Thank you for your responses! I found a full wing (Richard ) and a panel (Earlpart) for the right side, but still no luck for the left side where I have the major issue... Suggestions are always welcome! Faidon
  5. Hello all, Currently I am in the process of restoration of my family's Mk1 1967 2000. Unfortunately, the rear arch wing (LHD) is in poor condition that came as a surprise during the stripping of the car.(some bad bodyshop work done 30 years ago can do miracles  :-/ )  I have contacted Lloyd, Chris Witor and Rimmer, who were very helpful, but the truth is that there are no panels available. The car is already in the bodyshop, and I am sure the owner will not like the fact that new reproduction panels will be available  after 3 months. Does anyone by any chance have any rear wing (LHD) to sell ? Or even a repair panel ? If anyone also has a RHD rear repair panel please also do send me a message. I would be interested in the RHD as well. But the main priority for me is the LHD one. I know I am asking too much for such an old car, but I had to try at least :) thank you Faidon
