Evening folks, reopening this thread. After three years of service in the TR6 my cheapo retro £15 Chinese Bluetooth stereo has finally packed up. It’s been great because it has Bluetooth and I can skip phone tracks and change volume on the head unit. Any recommendations under £200 with better sound quality. I like the look of the blaupunkt skagen but reviews are very mixed.

Going to have another try before the nice weather comes to get my TR6 bodywork tidied up. It’s a US car so I’m hoping no welding - just tidy up wheel arches and a few small rust marks. Can anyone recommend someone in midlands.

Hi, I’m based in the midlands but working in Essex so am driving down to the briefing in my TR6 tomorrow. Only problem is having changed the clutch master cyl at the weekend (I broke the golden rule - if it ain’t broke don’t fix I!) I have a weep from one of the unions. It’s fairly minor but I suspect the copper pipe has work hardened to I don’t want to tweak it any more for fear of it cracking. Any one know of a triumph friendly garage in the north east m25/Essex area that might be able to change the union and bleed the clutch on Tuesday if it gets worse?

EBay is great when you know what to search for! In investigating a new suspension clonk on the TR6 ahead of 10CR I found a split in the steering rack boot. I’ll get a new one off eBay I thought. A search for “tr6 rack boot” came up with this! 😂

@Howard thanks for the advice. I must admit that I didn’t know that Amazon Renewed existed! That’s given me another dilemma now. There are lots of what appear to be recent second hand units on eBay for £30-40 and the Amazon renewed ones start at £75-80. Tough decision!

Hi Folks, can anyone advise which Garmin models have the trip planning feature (ie allow multiple way points)? . I was planning to use my daughters for 10CR but some b****r has stolen it from her car so I’m looking for a second hand eBay bargain at the mo. Cheers!
