  1. Hi Chunky Your Bond is a 2 litre Mk.1 (sort of) so the correct engine no. is HC below 50,000, although you could fit a Mk.2 engine no. HC50001 upwards, or a GT6 one no. KC or KE See you at the meeting next month
  2. Would entrants please respect the villagers by keeping to the speed limit of 30mph thru the village.
  3. Good news for the greedy.  Back to Pimperne this year and back to homemade cakes.  Also rumours last time that the local WI help in the kitchen are untrue - all the helpers are either members or members partners or friends.  I doubt if Pimperne has a local WI.
  4. Yes cakes should be on the menu at Pimperne.  The local ladies (and at least one Gent) are busy rolling up their sleeves ready to start stirring.
  5. Apparently Bridget does not want to go back to being chief cake organiser as she had been at Pimperne in the past, so unless someone else volunteers we will have to take Tim up on his offer to bake 500 cakes.
  6. An explanation about Handley.  Apparently the car park is not the sole preserve of the Hall but is open to any residents.  I had been there several times with local car clubs and never seen more than 2/3 other cars, however this timethere was obviously an important football match with 20+ cars.  Without them there would have been no problem.  Having said that I think the locals were more inconvenienced than us. Advatanges over Pimperne - a much bigger and better kitchen.  A much better and more efficient booking system - the lady from Pimperne is a nightmare to contact. Wherever we are next time we might - no promises - go back to cakes.
