I have a 1959 948 triumph herald saloon and I need the camshaft re profiling because where the fuel pump goes theres a huge lip on on of the lobes and I thinks is going to be affecting the performance or what there is of the performance. so my question is where can I get it re profiled cheapish in suffolk. I have a 1959 948 triumph herald and my carburettor is faulty and was wondering if a solex b30zic3 fit on a standard inlet/exhaust manifold? The original carburettor is a solex b28zic2. Dom.

I have a 1959 948 Triumph Herald and I was wondering if it would be worth getting a alternator conversion kit for it I will be fitting a new stereo a sub-woofer a cigarette lighter and possibly a halogen light conversion kit. At the moment I have a standard dynamo fitted. Please get back to me with suggestion on what i should do? Dom
