Hi.  New to the forum having bought our first Herald a few months ago.  Just trying to check valve timing .... With piston 1 at tdc, the gaps at valves 7 & 8 are 10 thou ..... So equal, and I think that is good? So I dont understand why online advice is saying I need to increase those gaps before I check they are equal???  Thanks.  

Hi everyone.  First post, having just recently bought a 13/60 ........... the drivers window won't wind down the last few inches.  Looking at the mechanism, the regulator reaches the end of it's slot in the channel one one side - and will go no further.  Is this an adjustment thing, or is it wrongly fitted?  I reckon the window would have to come out so that the channel can be relocated, but I might be over-complicating!  Thanks.
