1. No apologies needed and i'm sorry if i came across as a grumpy old troll :) I find its best to state ones experience early on as the internets full of know it all's who in fact no nothing. Our paths have crossed before as i'm the chap that bought your turbo kit. Here's another picture. The manifold design was a collaboration between myself and Danst engineering http://www.danstengineering.co.uk/ Anyone interested in purchasing one can contact them. And before some smart alec comes along i am not affiliated with danst engineering nor am i making any money out of future sales or trying to avoid passing myself off as a trader The remote thermostat setup can clearly be seen
2. Yes the manifold is a direct swap. How do i know? because i have owned 2 acclaims and 3 mk1 civic's and have played with the EB1, EB3 and EN4 engines. The mk1 civic also has its thermostat built into the inlet manifold like the acclaim has, this is why i have designed my conversion with a remote thermostat. Its still in development in terms of a proper plenum and filter but after a few hours of dyno time the hot/cold starts, acceleration, deceleration and partial throttle transitions are 100% perfect. The conversion works very well
3. Here's my, 1974 1169cc EB1 civic which i have successfully converted to run on bike carbs. Seeing as the manifolds are inter changeable between the early EB and late EN series engines i thought you guys might want to see what ive done.
