  1. Cheers Steve, I've attached it to the OD stud, probably worrying to much but it would be nice to know where the factory intended it to be mounted.
  2. Looking at Richards post of what look's like the Mk1 from my manual pt no. 10 would prevent damage to the OD stud but it's not long enough to mount that on it?
  3. Many thanks guys, it's pt no. 5 in steve's post but if you look at the positioning on the exhaust and it's the same in the OEM manual it's actually lower down than the bell housing, also the little twisted bkt only lines up with anything when hung off the end of the gear box? On the Mk1 in the manual it does indeed show an L bracket off the bell housing. I'm wondering if this bkt was omitted on the Mk2 OD model as it would have had to be hung off the OD stud instead of the gear box extension bolt and would have damaged the thread?
  4. Many thanks guys, it is a twisted bracket but came off the gearbox housing on a non overdrive model, I'll relocate to the bell housing.
  5. Hi All,         Long time reader but this one has me foxed, no pictures on the internet 🙂 Can anyone tell me where the front exhaust bracket is located on the overdrive model, is it in the same position as the non overdrive model on one of the gear box extension mounting bolts as the studs on the overdrive model don't look long enough to hold the bracket? If it's anywhere else is it a different bracket to the non overdrive model? Many thanks, Steve Palmer
