Hello I am trying to fit a period Les Leston wood rim steering wheel to my Vitesse. I have taken my old original wheel off and offered up the new Les Leston boss. This has the correct number of splines and all fits ok - so far so good. My problem comes with the horn pencil. The existing pencil is approximately 5.5cm long, but this is too short for the Les Leston boss; that needs to protrude through the steering wheel itself to reach the horn button? Is the horn pencil available in a longer length? Also my original Triumph horn button is slightly too large in diameter to fit the boss. Anybody one here who has fitted a similar wheel and can enlighten me?? thank you Martin

Hello I recently acquired a number of genuine old stock Stanpart seat covers. The part numbers are 562006, 562007, 562010, 562011. They are all rear seat squabs I believe. Can anyone with access to a part numbers listing please confirm which models of TR and years these relate to? thank you Martin

I would like to get the steel wheels on one of my Heralds shot blast and then either painted or powder coated. My local blaster has quoted me £25 per wheel just for the blasting. This seemed a bit on the high side to me - but maybe I am out of touch with current pricing as the last lot of blasting I had done was at 'mates' rates. Can anybody confirm whether this is a good price or not, and any views on whether to paint or powder coat? Also, if anybody could recommend a painter on the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire border that would be helpful too. thank you Martin

I have an intermittent problem with my Herald indicators. The front left indicator will flash at times but other times not. All other corners are 100% reliable. Is this the symptoms of a bad earth, or dirty contact somewhere in the wiring circuit for the left corner? Also the tell tale lamp on the dash does not always blink? Any ideas please where to look for a clue. Wiring is not my strong point!!
