The front seats are very very tatty and torn in my 1250 , can't seem to find any reasonably cheap used ones ebay. What alternative car seats are easy to fit ? Cheers

The chrome trim on my Herald 1250 has popped off at the ends as the retaining clips have failed. I cant seem to find these fixing clips anywhere , what do you all use ? they look large a rivet with a large head..

Hi, I have just purchased a Vitesse 6 but the previous owner has fitted a 2.0 engine. I would like to replace it with an original 1600, do I need to buy a whole new engine or are there interchangeable parts ? i.e could I buy a 'short engine' Also should a different diff have also been fitted, if so how can I tell ? Cheers

The previous owner made one carb out of 2, but I am not convinced it has been put together correctly, the tick over adjustment screw is so far away from the stop it doesn't do anythijng, and the throttle need 'blipping' to return to a slow tick over otherwise it is about 2500 revs !

The Solex B30PSEI is playing up on my 1250 and needs repair/overhaul.. Should I go to the trouble of repairing/overhauling or replace altogether with something else ? I would replace it with another B30PSEI if I could find one at a reasonable price, but wondered if I would bebetter off looking at something different altogether ? Steve
