How about odd numbered crews stop at Ferrybridge and even numbered ones at Wetherby??
not so good if in a convoy with friends with opposite numbers trying to keep together. -
I'm sure ferrybridge is smaller than blyth and not so easy to get to or back on to the right route, the problem at blyth was the build up of nearly all entrants before the books started to be signed, could of had an earlier start to signing to of helped this.

My 1500tc is just in need of a few small bits sorting which will be a breeze this time for me but we are also going to get on with Kynki Toledo too just to keep us on the edge as we may do a late car swap.
-
It looks like our entry has been denied cannot see us on the list despite getting through with no technical issues and being one of the number 11's on the list so was quite early, is this because of having a hotmail account and not receiving a conformation email.

Steve, I received a 'Club Triumph Order Confirmation' email with an order reference number shortly after putting in my entry. I interpreted that as confirmation that my payment had gone through.
Tim
Tim ive received nothing but then i am on hotmail 😲 -
Are we supposed to receive a conformation of entry Email ?
-
Question, Will we be able to input our entry data before 7.00pm the just press enter as the clock strikes 7 ? not trying to sound eager or owt lol

Im gonna MOT the 1500TC next week so thats me way ahead of myself for a change 🙂
Well i took the 1500TC for the MOT today and it passed but only after putting on the headlights to then have the n/s inner blow but fortunately i had one in the boot, a quick change and i got the pass so for a change im ready 11 months in advance instead of leaving everything to the last week.
But...... we are now also getting the KYNKI toledo back on the road as we plan on taking two cars in 2018 🙂

I don't think the event will happen again because its too long, too dangerous, starts in the wrong place, uses the wrong roads, ends in the wrong place at the wrong time without enough hotel stops for tea and proper nourishment, contravenes every regulation that is relevant and quite a lot of those that aren't. Also the cars are no longer safe or large enough to carry the number of crew required to ensure that a new driver is available every hour,, and that no one drives more than once, or has to think and drive at the same time as this will result in life imprisonment at best.
Perhaps a mental health charity should be considered????
LOL , I have Sleep Apnea so its fine for me.

Ive only used dolomite/toledo bodied cars 1500/1360 no problem, might use the sprint next time or a 2000.
-
Just a short piece from me, i was looking forward to do the driving through wales from the start but when we was at that point on the run i was quite tired so my son who had had some sleep prior to it took over the driving duties for that stage of the run, i would not of carried on and put my son, myself, others on the run or the welsh residents in that area at risk just to of driven that part and i think all the crews on the run would of acted the same way anywhere along the route. As well as its a fun run i think most if not everyone knows to be sensible.

Fix my ****ing engine - although I think it probably needs doing before 2018! Didn't see you over the weekend Steve, I ended up co-driving with Chris Gleason. How did you get on?
We finished it fine, i was wondering where you was . -
