  1. As our own autosolo will not be able to run as planned due to loss of venue, I am pleased to announce that

CT have been granted "invited club" status to this event run by another CLub in our Association.

Points will be elegible for CT awards if competing in a Triumph

    INFO LINK HERE

  2. 30+ years ago when I first started venturing into France in a Triumph, I used to buy a little bottle of "paint on yellow" that was readitly available at the time.  Worked a treat and cleaned off easily with white spirit up my return

    LINK!

A quick google would seem to imply that it's still readily available...

I assume you want these covers for aesthetic reasons rather than compliance?  If for compliance, why not just pick up a set of LHD 5 1/4" Cibies or similar?

  4. Entry closed over the weekend, we have 8 cars running.

Colin and I drove the route yesterday, ironing out a few wrinkles as we went.  The local farmers have been harvesting sugar beet, leaving a bit of mud on a few of the roads. Hopefully the rain this week will wash some of it away!

Speaking of "wash", the poor old Mini now needs one badly!

Many insurance policies cover non-timed navigational 12-car rallies,

Worth giving them a ring to check.  Emphasise that this event is an un-timed map reading and navigational drive, with the competitive element being based on interpreting the clues and reading the map correctly. Historically, most insurers have been ok with this.
