Talking of snow, did anyone notice the snow on the top of High Peak, on the A57 Snake Pass, during the HCR? It was mini-glacier shaped, in a shadowy crevice on the left hand side just before you descend into Glossop.

Yes the route from Millau via Marvejols/Pradelles/Valence to Genoble was absolutely fantastic. Deserted roads, lovely scenery, and tha satnav acting as pre-warning of the bends coming up, we absolutely flew along there. One the best parts of the whole trip. If you are ever down that way it's worth doing that section just for the fun of it.
