Hi there, recently had a great trip to Chinon for a French classic weekend - temperature in the 30s outside and car performed admirably. A TR7 V8 convertible with '92 (-ish) Rover Vitesse 3.5, and Edelbrock carburettor. However on way back the gauge shows 3/4 on the temp scale, so towards hot, but digital thermometer has hoses to rad at 88-92 degrees which I think is ok, so car doesn't appear to be overheating.
However - the heat in the footwells was close to overwhelming - and no, the heater wasn't on! The long trip home (Chinon to Calais and to Herts in one hit) in drizzly conditions meant hood up, but rear window zipped out, but still rather uncomfortable.
Any ideas on how to keep car cool? Is that temp ok? Thoughts welcome
