    Can I ask that the main entrant of each teams purchases the tankards for their teams. How to distribute to team members is up to the main entrant.

    As explained in the email to each main entrant, the supplier will only post one package to each team.

    The GT6 came with two options:

    1. Non-Overdrive with 3.27:1 diff

    2. D Type Overdrive with 3.89:1 diff.

    Both cars had more or less identical MPH/1000 rpm in top or O'd top. However, the non overdrive car was not as much fun to drive as the gearing was a tadge too tall. To my mind and as many others will vouch,D or J type O'd and 3.63:1 (Spit 1500 diff) is the best combination, as it gives relaxed crusing and good acceleration.

    Can't agree about the comment by a poster to this thread that Triumph did not make their cars look similar, in the early 70's the rear end's all had a similar look...Toledo, Dolomite, 2000/2500 mk2, Stag, Spitfire mk4, GT6 mk3, even the TR6....def some uniformity there....I suppose Vauxhall had it with the coke bottle styling of the Viva and Victor...BMW with their range...but not that common in the 70s.

    Have to agree with you, Colin.

    Car Park prices are scandalous. Also, why do they insist on parking visitors miles away from the exhibition halls, its really galling to walk past empty car parks when walking through!

    Not enough variety within the Autojumble, how many stalls selling the same tools. Be good to see the small companies that sell make parts: brand specialists for MG, Triumph, Ford, Jaguar etc etc

    I would rather the car makes were jumbled up instead of being all grouped, make it more interesting. For example the Ford Hall, was a tadge boring!

    Loathe the stands that sell products that are not car related..for example, there was a company selling sofas there (the bloke on the stand looked bored)...why?

    It costs car clubs a lot of money to attend and I am not sure it is beneficial...its almost peer pressure that makes clubs attend. 

    Although the Stoneleigh MG/Triumph is for one day, its almost essential and one I very much enjoy. I like the fact that ordinary people can rent space for a stand and sell parts they don't need etc etc.

    Reckon my attendance on Sat cost nearly £100 once one factors in fuel to get there and food costs.
