I have just read the 2015 Regulations;my understanding is that the date for withdrawal is 31st July if contact is received beforehand.
" Refunds for the withdrawal of entry will be made if received prior 31st July 2015. "
Could someone clarify this position please?

Many thanks Sheepy! Having broken down (Gearbox failure ) in Germany (10CR 2011), this would take  a lot of stress out of an unfortunate situation!

I rang the garage today (that pressed on the new bearings etc) and they are happy for me to take the Diff' to them to check the problem (Fingers crossed!) 8)

Thanks very much for your responses - Yes I have tightened the castle nuts tight and am thinking that they have not  pressed the new bearings etc. on fully by the garage I took them to. Here is a photo of the nearside.

I have just had new bearings and seals fitted to the Input axles on my diff' - after bolting them back into the unit I have noticed that there is a gap between the bearing retainer and the "cup" on the end of the flange on both sides (approx 2mm on offside and about 5mm on nearside)...
i)  should there be a gap here?
ii) or should the cup fully cover the bearing retainer?
iii)the gap is larger on the nearside - should they have the same gap either side?
