Evening everyone, I have a 1961 Herald 1200 convertible (genuine CV) Went out for a drive today and the drivers door kept coming open, being only secured by the emergency latch. I kept closing the door, but it was open again within a few hundred yards. The door hasn't dropped, and the panel gaps are perfect, and it closes easily. Can anyone help please? Thanks Dave

Hi everyone, I have a 1961 convertible 1200, genuine 43,000 on the clock. It has been laid up since September, and was last started around early November. I went to move it the other day, and turned the engine over on the starter to get some oil around. It fired up and all was fine, then when I put it into reverse there was a metallic clang, and the oil light is now on all the time brightly. The engine still sounded ok, but I turned it off and haven't touched it since. Anyone any ideas as to what could be wrong please? Prior to this the engine was sound, no rattle on start up etc..... Evening guys, I have just put the hood up on my convertible 1200 and have seen that the 1/4 window on the left had side has parted company with the hood material. The hood itself is in perfect condition and is a very good water-tight fit. Does anyone know of any companies in the Surrey area who repair plastic windows in hoods? Cheers  :)

Hi, I am looking for some original carpets for an early 1200. I realise that I have more chance of a snowflake in hell of getting a new set, but I am happy for a reasonable or even slightly tatty set.   I have been looking for ages with no luck, so hope that one of you guys may be able to help.
