Finally got my car back on the road after a trip to the paint shop took three years lol didn't really want it back at the time with going through cancer with Dad .My engine before I took in was just your usual none modified mk 3 72 gt6.Have now been checking things over and have done a compression check which I don't really know how to interpret the figures so need a bit of help guys . Dry figure 1 115 2 105 3 110 4 95 5 105 6 110 Wet figure 1 150 2 130 3 130 4 125 5 125 6125 Can you give you opinion guys car pulls well ticks over well and no blue smoke Cheers

Just putting doors back on can anyone please tell me how far up glass on the door goes does it go all the way up to the roof line on a bit down ?. Picture would be nice Thanks

Having stripped my gt6 a long time ago am now putting the courtesy lights back on and have a puzzle be gentle not very good with wiring .On the passengers side I have one pink/purple and white ? Cable but on the driver's side I have two of them how do wire up a courtesy light switch ? Thanks its a 72 mk 3

Just done the same job last weekend had some outer trims got from cc years ago which had no clip recess and had to cut to length ordered some from JP they had indentations and where cut to length.

Just finished for the night getting a few jobs done on Opal my gt6 mk 3 after been inspired on from the Santa pod weekend, she will be back on the road soon lol.Been putting headlight pods back on thought I'll start her up for ten minutes everything fine nice tickover started easy thought this is going well then looked down she's we'ed why is it always same carb I clean it out then fine ?

That's what I was asking when I switch three position light switch I get lights off side lights and then last one has headlights and side lights together should it be like that just going through a restore been off road a long time

When I put front lights on I get front side lights to are they meant to do that on a mk3 gt6

Have a 72 gt6 which I think has a skinny anti roll bar what's the correct size in mm please and why would you fit a skinny one surely it would affect handling ?

Just removed the steering rack on my 72 gt6 to give front end a sprooce up but like a Muppet sprayed over my white marks where the nut goes grrr .Anyone got any dimensions to start of with before I take car for tracking .
