  1. Wow gotting on realy well there i not done much to mine for ages now got boot floor out and statted to attack the passinger floor ,  would it be a good idea to fit a brake servo i not think it is muh work just a pipe to the manifold wonder if anyone has any ideas on this?  
  2. Wel i have acess to a engine stand and some srong tube so will knock something up , how heavy is the tub can 2 people pick it up?  i have to put boot floor in first and repair the passinger floor and inner sill

Wow you guys realy geting on with it lookin god , i am just cutting outm my boot floor and chippng away loads of filler in the iner wings  and repair the inner boot floor lips , i have a questiona bout the tub how do you manage to support it when you flip it over i realy wanan have it on it's site or upsidedown how did you do this?

Hey ok well thanks for info there  i guess i should have porvided a better description as to what i am doing, i removed floor, inner sills, because of rot but i am hoping to kep the sill in place to give me some refrence, ok   it has had a nwe floor at some point and was welded over top of original one witch took time to remove and was confusing I got the 2 spacers from the buld head mounting so thats ok in process of welding it on , so that be ok and measuer form other side so that should be ok the outer sill does have to be pushed up to fit the inner sill ok it spings out , maybe tack the inner sill and a post lower in place first then know there the right distance then make floor fit? it not easy to get it all to lign up and the bulkhead if a difficult job to get looking good a lot of a blabble hope you can understand some of this i got a new bracket for the floor to outrigger too old one was reel bad nto fun fitting that
  6. ok here an update on my 1500 , just one prob cant get drivers floor to get down enough to line up with sill and a post ? wish you could get hold of new bulkhead too

Yes it seems to be the case with the rot problem i was goignt o patch but i thourght i woudl go all out and change panells, never done worl liek this before but it will atll turn out ok got a good welder to help me out, i doing all the floor and inner sill while it is still bolted to chassis and hard top on, just need to fond someway to paint it proper?

Hello all simon from telford here, thanks for all info on this forum it is great, i am rstoring a spitfire 1500 my self had it for 10 years now and stood in garage for bout 3 years but now it is having some atention , needs nwe driver floor, inner sill ,inner arch and chassis repair gone at froint drivers side by bonet post
