  1. Sorry yes it would help! I am in the North Liverpool area.
  2. Hi everyone thanks in advance for reading this message. I began my first project a while a go now, a GT6 mk2 given to me by my fiance's father. So far I have changed the fuel line, taken the insides out, taken the gearbox and clutch out, and given it a bit of a clean.  Other than that I haven't had the time or knowledge to do much else. Right, lets get to the problems... I have bought a new clutch, which feels impossible to fit!  Bought it from Canley Classics and no matter what I do I just can't seem to fit it onto the guides. I had a friend helping me who had restored a Rover 2000 to a pretty good condition.  He suggested to me while helping me that we take the gearbox apart.  Little did I know that it was a bloody Pandora's box of tricks to put back together!  I have finally cleaned it all and put it back together, but whether it will work or not is another matter. WHAT I'M ASKING (PLEADING) FOR I'm asking for any advice or even someone to spend a few hours helping me out with this nightmare of a restoration!  I will pay and there will be teas, coffees, sandwiches (... pints?!) in store if you can help out, or know someone who can help out who is reliable! Unfortunately I took the doomed career choice of a primary teacher, so my availability is down to the week we have off at the end of May, and then the few weeks over summer. If you can help, or know someone who can help out during these times I would be more than grateful!  If would be a fantastic opportunity for me to learn from someone who knows a little more than I - "righty tighy, lefty loosy" I'm probably asking a lot, but even a day's help will more than sufficient! Any other details needed, don't hesitate to email me on ajlowrie@live.co.uk Thanks again in advance! Allerno
