  1. Super, Thanks for the help Colin George
  2. Afternoon, Hope you can help... So... MKIV 1300 - Engine died last summer after a full restoration (cylinder melted...) Purchased a 1500 engine, removed 1300 clutch & flywheel and placed onto the 1500 (after drilling out larger holes in flywheel to account for difference) . Engines now ready to go back into the car. My question is, will my exhaust manifold (1300) fit onto the 1500 engine? Thanks, George

It will only make a small difference but this could change the look. Chris. Hi Chris, Rear mounting plate...? The novice in me is needing some clarity  ;) Cheers, George

Thank you both. Here is a shot from the front. I just dont remember it being so high above the brake line, i may be wrong though.

    Engine turret

Hi gang, me again..... So, both turrets are back on the car, with the jack dropped. I put the engine mounts on the outside of the turrets if that makes sense (this may be where i went wrong....). Does it seem to be at too much of an upward angle?? Here are the shots below. it all seems to be too high at the front to me. Cheers, George
