I have just replaced the radiator hoses on my 1300 Toledo. The pack of hoses for this also contained an alternative lower radiator hose for the 1500 rwd. Surplus to requirements so if anyone wants this free of charge, it is available.

On a 1976 Toledo, it uses the single piston caliper on the front brake. When this caliper is off the disc can it be split taking off the outer side, without having to bleed the brake system by opening the piston on the inner half?

It's out of a 1976 Toledo - comes out fairly easily. Number of places locally clean tanks, but petrol and pressed tanks are not in favour.

Has anyone any experience of cleaning the sludge out of a petrol tank (after having been left standing with petrol in, for many years)? I'm happy to do it myself, or have it done commercially in the Birmingham area.
