Thanks Mike and Nick. I will put a new blade in the hack saw and see how I get on.

I met a local Vitesse owner yesterday who had the same issue with his AVO shock absorber bottom bush, and he managed to improve the situation by fitting a rear leaf spring eye bush (part number C8939) into the shock eye cut down to the required length. Just need to find a spare bush and confirm the outer diameter. Good idea / bad idea?

Thanks Rob and Nick. I will persevere with the AVOs for now and see if I can get replacement bushes from AVO. The design of the bottom bush arrangement is a bit pants. I wish I had bought Konis now. Definite case of buy cheap, buy twice.

Well done Pete!
I have created a Autosolos playlist on the Club Triumph YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqqvO3oV9TFYGch0LER51zQ/playlists
If anyone has any other videos they would like to add to the playlist, let me know, and I will add you as a collaborator so you can add videos to the playlist.

I'm not sure how best to organise the playlists on YouTube. If you have a Google / YouTube account, send me a PM, and I can add you as a collaborator.
Should we organise them by event and by year?

Happy to create a YouTube playlist of videos if that's where most of them are.
We have a Google account at clubtriumphltd@gmail.com - I think someone walked off with the original clubtriumph@gmail.com account?

Thanks! Found some.

A somewhat basic question, but what antifreeze are you using in your Triumph?
-
It was good to meet you @PeteStupps. I hope you fixed your oil leak.

I have added it to the Pendle & Pennine events calendar. Each group can now manage their own events calendar.

You need to search "camber compensator" as the solution to "jacking"
or just use a later Spitfire swing spring?

Apologies for anyone trying to use the website today. Our service provider Invision are carrying out some scheduled maintenance. For more details, see their system status page for updates.

We have finished a recent update to the Local Groups Directory that enables group organisers to manage their own entries in the directory. Group organisers can now edit the group information, meeting venue details and upload group photographs. We encourage members to take a look through the directory and press the "Join Group" button on any groups within their area.
https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/clubs/
Your Local Group is a great place to meet fellow owners of the Triumph marque for hints, tips, help and advice, as well as great company for those sunny day drive outs. Supporting your Local Group is important in order to continue to attract new members and spread the good word about Club Triumph.
You are free to join more than one group. Happy clicking!

Tim Turner @timt is one or our local members in North Wiltshire, and I'm pretty certain he doesn't have a WhatsApp'able mobile.

Hi Brian, You should be able to add your co-drivers here:
https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/store/category/15-coast-2-coast-run-2022/
Let me know if that works for you.

Hi Brian. I'm not taking part, so I can't send you a screen shot of how, but if you go to the page below, you should see your C2C entry purchase:
https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/clients/purchases/
From there, you should be able to edit your entry.
Let me know if you get stuck, and I will try and find someone with an entry who can better advise than me.

On a similar subject, has anyone found a suitable high level brake light either OE or as an after market item that will look ok on a Herald? Not yet sure if the rake of the rear window glass will make any difference. I want it to look as period as possible - even though such a thing wasn't around in the 1960s - and not look like an accessory from the Carlos Fandango catalogue.

Due to the rise in COVID transmissions, we have decided to CANCEL the meeting at the Foxham Inn this Tuesday 14th December. We will review January's meeting in the new year. That said, we wish you all a safe and healthy Christmas.

The iPad issue is an edge case. I'm not a fan of the Invision primary navigation model, as it is somewhat clunky on a desktop, trying to get from Events > 10CR > Reserve List with the mouse.
I have raised the issue with Invision.
Part of the problem is we have overloaded the primary navigation with menus and links. Although they display ok on desktop and mobile, the iPad hits an edge case where in landscape mode it really should switch to the mobile navigation model.
