  1. I met a local Vitesse owner yesterday who had the same issue with his AVO shock absorber bottom bush, and he managed to improve the situation by fitting a rear leaf spring eye bush (part number C8939) into the shock eye cut down to the required length. Just need to find a spare bush and confirm the outer diameter. Good idea / bad idea?

  2. We have finished a recent update to the Local Groups Directory that enables group organisers to manage their own entries in the directory. Group organisers can now edit the group information, meeting venue details and upload group photographs. We encourage members to take a look through the directory and press the "Join Group" button on any groups within their area.

Your Local Group is a great place to meet fellow owners of the Triumph marque for hints, tips, help and advice, as well as great company for those sunny day drive outs. Supporting your Local Group is important in order to continue to attract new members and spread the good word about Club Triumph.

You are free to join more than one group. Happy clicking!

  3. On a similar subject, has anyone found a suitable high level brake light either OE or as an after market item that will look ok on a Herald? Not yet sure if the rake of the rear window glass will make any difference. I want it to look as period as possible - even though such a thing wasn't around in the 1960s - and not look like an accessory from the Carlos Fandango catalogue.

  4. The iPad issue is an edge case. I'm not a fan of the Invision primary navigation model, as it is somewhat clunky on a desktop, trying to get from Events > 10CR > Reserve List with the mouse.

I have raised the issue with Invision.

Part of the problem is we have overloaded the primary navigation with menus and links. Although they display ok on desktop and mobile, the iPad hits an edge case where in landscape mode it really should switch to the mobile navigation model.
