Hi all
Just a brief update to say we are still waiting on some key information before we can open entry. It's looking as though we'll launch in the new year - not ideal, but beyond my control I'm afraid. We are aware of the situation with Team Coordin8.
As soon as we have some firm info, I'll post on here. Please bear with us.
Regards
Ellis

Hi Steve
You should have just received an email explaining all.

A huge thanks to Nigel & Dale for organising the event, and congratulations to Annie & David for taking 1st Overall with just one fail. Remember to get some pictures and your experiences over to Dale for the club mag.
Cheers all and hope to see you either at the dinner or the HCR.

Hi Ellis,
First of all, thank you for the great work you do. For the international participants, how should we go about this? Would it be possible to join in on drivers meeting on video?
Previously you have been so kind as to carry all papers etc to the starting point. Perhaps this year you would prefer to mail the papers instead of carrying stuff around in the boot. Could I forward money for postage and have it sent instead? Same gos for the trophy from 2019 🙂
Look forward to the startline
Cheers
Nick, Denmark
Hi NIck
For those on the continent, we'll bring packs to the start, don't worry.

Dates will hopefully be finalised by the end of the week, but likely to be week commencing 22nd Aug, one in Herts and one up north(ish).
Once confirmed, I'll post / send out.

Yes got it through but couldn't see anything about payment mentioned. However, I have seen that the TR drivers club are saying pay on arrival for their guys so that seems the easiest approach and having read it again I can see that's what we are doing too so all is good...
First paragraph on the pdf Andy - I tried to put it in a prominent place!
-
You should have had that through last night Andy (03/07/2022 - 21:46)... sent to same email address. Please check again and advise.
-
All VALID requested passes for Sunday (so far) have now been processed and sent.
Further camping details were also sent on Sunday evening (3rd July).
If anyone was expecting something, and hasn't received it, please contact me - contact details in Club Torque <please do not post my email address on here>
Kind regards
Ellis Stokes

Hi Andy.
You were sent an email a few weeks back saying it would be this week... You should be in receipt of your pass now.

We'll look into it, but it's not quite as simple as you might think...

I am also involved with the Historic Marathon Rally Group who will have some interesting old rally cars attending. Some of the cars arrive by trailer and we asked if these drivers could stop over night. We have now been told that the camping facilities will be exclusive to the 2 Triumph clubs because they are paying.
Sounds the correct steer from Gaydon... they can't let others in if we are paying for the facilities.

Yes, camping Friday and Saturday. Details are imminent....
I believe it's just for CT & TRDC members Steve.

UPDATE: found them in the club shop.
For anyone else, make sure you are logged in, go to the club shop and then the C2C page. The T-Shirts / Polo Shirts are listed there alongside the event entry stuff. You will not see them by managing your existing purchases.
Cheers

Hi Chris / Howard - Forgive me if I have missed this, but when did the comms about merch come out? Can't find anything I've received and nothing on the website / forum.
If something has come out, might be worth popping a reminder of what people need to do on the chase email / forum update.

Bruneco...
I did say to get cracking with bookings about 3 months ago, as some of the areas were tight.

Hi All.
As I'm lucky enough not to have moved house in the last 30yrs I still have a paper driving license.
Somebody mentioned that they are no longer acceptable in Europe any more ? Can anyone shed some light as to weather that is correct ?
Cheers Mark.
The last time I checked this, you'll need an International Driving Permit, but depends on which paper licence you have.
Have you checked the DVLA website? -
Such sad news... a true gent and friend. Paul (and Andy) were part of my first team looking after the 10CR. He always found good in everyone.
We had the priviledge of his company on the last 10CR, shared many stories and made many a memory.
Thoughts obviously with friends and family.
We will think of a suitable way to remember Paul on the 10CR later this year.
You'll be missed mate.

That filled up far too quickly, didn’t even get a look in 😢
Cant even see where using an iPad you get the entry forms?
We did give notice and told everyone to keep a look out and make sure they had read the How to Enter instructions, which explains info you would need and where to go. The 10CR always fills quickly, hence...
Bit harsh with the "dislike" just because the event is popular.

Ok, worked out the issue - was trying to enter whilst not logged in!
Hopefully made it to reserve list now
Can't see you on the reserve list at the moment. Best you check that...
-
Entry open for 3 hours, and it's full... I think that's a new record. Reserve list in operation.

Do you think we might get a record for website visits tonight?
-
I've just had the nod from the website team to say the 10CR will go live later today... Keep 'em peeled on the 10CR page, and if you haven't already, make sure you read the instructions of how to enter. Good luck everyone.

Good to know that something is afoot.... 😊
For our own mental preparation though, it would be really helpful to know dates and roughly where the route might take us. Not sure whether the info is already out there and I have missed it? Don't do faceache / meta or whatever it's called this week.....
Thanks
Nick
Hi Nick. Some further info will be in the mag which will drop this week. Dates however have been published on many platforms for some time... 6-10 Sept.

Hi all.
Yes, we've found the same as well. I'm amending the start point to a little way south of Rouen so as to not risk hitting the area by accident.
More info to follow very soon.
