Yey, removal of parcel shelf , changing to reading specs, ripping holes in upper hand and much back ache....managed to slot the tube back on to the nozzle. Now replace parcel shelf .....tomorrow!!

Parcel shelf back in Tip. Because you have difficulty in aligning the two hole in the mill board with the two clips attached to the scuttle interior ( as its black and dark under there) stick two small white s/a labels on the two clips then a red marker dot on the label, you can then see through the millboard where the red dot is, then screw the self tapper through the millboard.

Surely by now now you guys have learnt that when someone is in this predicament that you rush round and film the whole episode! It’s worth a few bob on you been framed ! Or Tic Toc!

The issue I have is more to do with glasses slipping/falling off once I am inserted upside down into the dash.... Or the light moving and shining directly at me.

Exactly in every sense.....my main problem is when I`m upside down with legs on the back of the driver seat......then trying to get out ,and hopefully somebody listening to me ,,....shouting....Help!

  4. The most awkward /painful thing to attach/reattach on a Spitfire MK3?......the driver side windscreen washer tube to spray nozzle in the scuttle.....and the two bolts/screws fixing the GRP tunnel cover to the scuttle ,just above the bell housing. Bent spine scraped knuckles and neck ache. Today`s task....to get all three , as the washer hose is dangling loose

Somebody flicked a light switch when I turned 70 , up to then, fit as a lop, active etc. Now after a few years, tired lethargic and not interested in most things energetic. Not as though I`m trying to depress you🤣......PS  Stelvio a lot easier going down hill!

Took Mabel out for a pre Stoneleigh run ran beautifully  for a 7 mile drive then blew a big end half a mile from home,  limped her back to her garage and shut her away for the forseeable,  I did say in the area news in club torque that she would throw up an issue before Stoneleigh, she was meant to be on the stand.  I hate that car !!

    Excellent.

Was about to post this on behalf of a mate

I think poking something in the hole to release the knob is the way to go 👍🏻 Perhaps you need to press harder if the ratchet has seized 🤔 or apply a very small amount of light oil?

`Ratchet`only on heater. The light switch has a spring loaded button to hold it in place but the hex shaft and hole sometimes seize on. Just needs a 40 drops from the War Department.....(or in some cases a farriers hammer)
