Thanks Mike for an enjoyable rally even if Poo was misbehaving badly. It was particularly nice for me visiting lots of my old drinking haunts of my miss spent youth. We do have to raise and official complaint that Poo was sabotaged by another competitor in supplying us with dodgy parts. Therefor all Colin's and Mike's points should pass to Pete and Myself.

Don't worry Dale I've hidden a GPS tracker in Mikes car I can let you have the route for a Price!

Clive - do you fancy making a huge 100% profit on selling your car? I'll give you a quid for it?
Does this mean you are finally trading the Spitfire -

Okay. Knowing that some entrant's cars are more pristine than others, I have an idea that will suit all, and disadvantage none.
So I am guessing that we will have to do a long way round through a car wash then? -
Hi Mike
I have just given Pete a poke lets see if he is up for it again this year.

Unfortunately my employer wont give to any charity that involves animals. Talking to a friend of mine who is a fund raiser for Guide dogs said that this is not an uncommon problem. They have said I can send an email to my colleagues so I hope to pickup some more sponsorship.

You really do need to get out more.
I can see Janice enjoying such anecdotes as you tour the country.
Tenner you are back in a week. On your own.
For years after Claire left BT and I finished on the BT district contracts we navigated the country by BT telephone exchanges.

Thanks Mike and the marshals for great rally. You got the level just about right and we enjoyed the tiebreaker questions. A good route to drive according to Pete and some pleasant country side for me to look at in-between looking at my navigation.
Thanks Mark and Pete -
Just a suggestion and at the risk of being branded a heretic could the start/finished not move north say to the Milton Keynes or Northampton areas so avoiding the M25 and M40 altogether.

Lands End always has been a dump. Believe it or not its better now than it was 20 years ago. Perhaps you could find somewhere nearer Penzance and make Lands End just a drive by on the route.

Me, and lots!
Will think about it a bit more in about 720 days.
Come on Keith, get that countdown counter reset!
So you are putting in twice as much prep time for the 2016 rally! -
thescrapman wrote:It is worth noting that all 3 top cars are small capacity 4 cylinder engined. Maybe even all 1300's.
Shows you don't need a big engined car.
I better stop Mike putting that 1500 engine in the Spitfire then LOL.
Thanks Ellis and Mike for a great event I know how much work goes into organising the HCR so lets hope for a better turn out next year.

Pete will want to wash Poo as he will be sitting in it for the next 24 hours after the curry ;) -

Nope your not missing something. We could do with finals as well and food options. Come on Ellis stop keeping us in the dark. -

If its curry Mike better put the soft top on so we can be fully ventilated. :D -
I was more concerned about the food choices at the start rather than anything else.

Any HCR news/finals as its only 1 week away.

Anyway Mike, you don't need to worry about navigating, now you have an Expert in the car!
Not yet Colin its 3 wins to move up to expert and I only have 2 so still a novice. I will have to make dam sure I don't win anymore CMC 12 cars.
And Mike we never get lost just temporally misplaced.

I'm really looking forward to it and, as in 2012, I'm just hoping to have a gentle cruise round. All I need to do is stay awake to prevent Mark putting the hammer down when I'm asleep ;) On that last one it was so cold in the passenger seat at about 3am I got inside my sleeping bag and was quite cosy. When I woke up at 6am we had done enough extra counties to actually win it. God knows where Mark had taken us...
You can hope Mike you can hope. But even if you stay awake you still will have no idea where I am taking you. ;) -

Mark Bulford receives no.1 !!
Come on the rest of you !!
Mr Banks will hand it to you in person on Sunday and he has already told me we are not allowed to win it this year after what happened in 2012 ;) -
When you say the finish is at Sparkford I guess it will be at the Haynes Motor Museum?

It wasn't that the info was hidden, it's just the details weren't confirmed before going to press, hence... no need to get in a panic chaps. All details you should need are in the regs.
I see you have edited the name on this set Ellis

Perhaps you need to be slightly more forthcoming with the start and finish or you might be having a very lonely rally :-/
