Thanx for the replies. I might get some 5mm thick rubber, shape to the hinges and shave where needed. If I can be bothered with the headache.

Hi all. Is there a certain way the doors have to be adjusted/aligned? Also are all the bolts the same size all round and are they all countersunk? Adjusters on the pillars are sorted. MK2 2500s saloon 78. Cheers.

Hi all. Can anyone offer me any advice on tyre sizes. The wheels I have for my MK2 2500s are 15" and are 7j. I will be lowering the car in the near future . The car is also fully poly bushed. Cheers

Thanx for all your replies guys. I checked on the 2000/2500 register, as I'm a paid up member and found a contact number for Andy, and email address. The contact number must be disconnected so I willl email him. My doors arent too bad but its the bottoms of the doors where the door seal goes where there is rust, and as the resto is costing me around 10k, I would really prefer as less filler as possible on the car.

Hi. Getting desperate now as the front doors are holding the work up on the bodywork. My car is on the ramp, just a shell, no running gear, wiring or brake pipes. The only thing on the car is the dash, oh and the headlining. Its costing me a fortune but am determined to crack on and keep the car on the road, hopefully for a good few years more. So if anyone does fancy selling me a good set of front MK2 saloon doors, I would appreciate it. Cheers

Hi all. I am in the process of doing an expensive resto on my 2500S including an RV8 conversion. Anyhow, I needed some advice/opinions on replacing the carpet from brown to black as I have seen this set on fleabay. Item number is 111160560180. Sori but no idea how to upload a link. Is this set worth getting or do I have any other options. The interior will be getting a retrim in either black with red piping or cream with black piping. Thanx.
