  1. Cookie: Thanks so much for telling my about the carb hospital! This is a great source of parts indeed. At the moment I'm looking at getting used but rebuildable ones, but failing to do so I will definitely consider buying new ones from them.
  2. They are different in many ways. E.g., it seems that the B series had the carbs mounted on the left side (on the GT6 they are on the right) and a PO had 'made them fit'. The linkage is also different, the fast idle mechanism is different, the needles are different. Not sure about the jets, those might be the same. There's no S/SE stamped after the 150, because there's not even a 150 stamped onto mine. They just read Stromberg CD. I put some pictures up in the past, they are here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=4AC03D6F1EC8F583!2819. (Note that I have since moved to throttle return spring to a more sensible location.)
  3. Thanks Hughbert for the quick reply! I forgot to mention that I live in the UK, so shipping from the states may sadly be prohibitively expensive :(
  4. Hi everybody! I've recently become the proud owner of a '67 GT6 which is giving me a lot of pleasure (and troubles too of course :)). It turns out that some previous owner had fitted CD150 carburetors from a BMC B series which are a bit different, and I would really very much return it to original. Thus, I'm looking for a pair of Stromberg CD150's with serial numbers 3092F and 3092R for a reasonable price. Does anybody have an idea where I might find those? Thanks, Christoph
