  1. These parts have been taken and are no longer available.
  2. Hi, unfortunately I can give you much help- the door windows on my GT6 Mk3 have always had exactly the same fit problems that you describe, it has however been through a major restoration/ rebuild so the fit may not be as it was originally. I have been meaning to try and find some other GT6s to see if this is how they all are. I spent a coupe of days playing around with the fit of the quarterlight frames and the rear track for the glass when I put the car back together after a respray. The fit of the glass and frame at the top of the door aperture on mine seems very tight which limits the range of adjustment, it is too easy to end up with either the top rear corner of the glass or the top corner of the quarterlight marking the paint. It would be interesting to know if anyone has got a better fit and how. One of the downsides of adding sound deadening during the rebuild is that now most of the noise inside the car at speed is wind noise resulting from the bad fit of the door windows against the seal at the top🙄
  3. Ben, I am in Langport, Somerset- approx 10 miles east of Taunton. The carpets have been in the loft for the last three years so a few more weeks won't hurt. Can you message me your email address?
  4. Used black door cards and rear quarter trim panels (long trim panels from B post to tail) for GT6 Mk3. Door cards have some water marks on board. Rear quarter panels have speaker holes and screw holes where clips broken. Usual damage around clip locations. Could be used as patterns or possibly reused. Collect from Somerset.
  5. Used good quality black carpet set for GT6 Mk3. Reasonable condition, some wear. Could be reused or used as patterns. Much better quality than the moulded set that replaced it! Collect from Somerset.
  6. Hi, I have recently put my Mk3 back together after a respray.  I had purchased new quarterlight seals but I can't remember where from- probably Paddocks or Rimmers.   They come as a length of straight seal, cut over length.  They need to be cut to length with an approz 45deg angle on the ends, I recommend cutting oversize and doing a trial fit as it is tricky to get the length right even if you have the original seals. On my car the join was located in the bottom front corner of the aperture, the original seals had a small right angled bit of metal that fitted in the seals at the join- I not sure how much this added to the effectiveness of the seal.
  7. Thanks for the responses guys.  I have the old Girling servo that came with the car- might look into getting it rebuilt but as it has been sitting around for 20 odd years I'm not too optimistic.
  8. The brake servo (replacement Lockheed remote unit) on my 74 GT6 MK3 started making an odd noise and ceased helping the brakes yesterday- it may have been on the car since the 1980s so it is no longer in its youth.  As repair kits look thin on the ground I'm looking for a replacement. As mentioned on another recent post the Rimmers Bros servo is significantly cheaper than from the other usual suspects- from the photos they all look like identical Lockheed type servos. Has anyone had any experience with a servo recently purchased from Rimmers or the others.  I would rather pay a bit more for one that will last but how do you know what you are getting? Since my original post I have noticed that Moss list both a Lockheed servo and and aftermarket servo with a corresponding difference in price but both with the same picture- this might explain the prices differences differences noted above. Chris
  9. Looking nice- I bought a pair of Park Lane leather covers and foams for my GT6 as an Xmas pressie.  I'd had enough of hoovering up foam crums :(  Fitted very nicely with similar good results after a bit of wrestling and head scratching.  Just need to get the interior back into the car now.
