  1. Having some newly aquired "cash to splash" I'd like to upgrade the carbs on my 1962 Vitesse 6. Currently have Solexes but looking to convert to Strombergs or SU's. Can someone please advise on whats involved and required. Manifold issues? Header tank etc. Looking for a setup akin to later Vitesse 6's or mk1's. Many thanks.
  2. Looking at getting a moto-lita steering wheel for my vitesse 6. Do I need to get the dished type to give stalk clearance etc or would a flat one be ok? Cheers
  3. So a catch can connected directly to rocker cover would suffice? No vacuum needed from inlet manifold ( mine has no provision for vacuum take off).
  4. The exhaust on my Vitesse 1600 will need replacing soon.  I was wondering if a more "sportier" option is available rather than the standard exhaust. I was thinking along the lines of a twin silencer or twin tailpipe type similar to those available for mk1's and mk2's.
  5. I wish to replace the tin cover on my Vitesse 1600 with a polished alloy one. Currently the breathing seems to come from a 'mushroom' shaped oil filler with mesh in it. The new cover just has an oil filler cap although there is a pipe outlet on the side. I'm guessing this is to provide the breathing functionality. Whats the best way of setting this up? Vent to a catch bottle or some kind of filter etc. Thanks.
