  1. Team 130 had our first 35A fuse go all brown and sulky on the way up from Lands End. About 50 miles later, its replacement followed suit. Both were new, so I'm thinking maybe a duff batch. Wipers, indicators, fuel and temperature gauge were all thoroughly disinterested in life without it. Oh, and for some reason the TR6's fuel cut off inertia switch triggered at a fuel stop on our way home after the event. Of course, it waited until we'd told everyone about the run and how good the car had been to us. 🙂
  2. Team 130 will be looking to: replace the TR6 drivers window (all the little bits at Lands End will not fit back together again, especially now I've had a doctor pull some of it out of my head). ascertain why the wipers, indicators, temperature and fuel gauges cut out periodically (and what makes them come back). resolve the chronic thirst characterised by our engine which seemed to drink twice the fuel of more spirited drivers. consider adding a second fuel pump so that we can switch between them when they get hot.
  3. Yes, we had that behind us for a while and I was lost in the glare of my own cheekbones, lit up as they were by the light reflected from our side and rear mirrors. Great looking car, mind. Just don't need to see it every time I blink a week later 🙂
  4. No problem. Were you The Lost Dutchman? Jen caught a great snap of you if so.
  5. They're in the RBRR banter group, posted under Jen Bradford https://www.facebook.com/groups/rbrrbanter/ Some absolutely cracking shots in the Sunday sun.
  6. Is this the 2023 edition? I don’t recognise a lot of the entrants.
  7. Reworked it for (hopefully) better rendering consistency across devices and mobile users. URL remains the same: https://arallsopp.github.io/colouriser/
  8. Thanks @mikeyb. Am thinking about trying to use HTML5 canvas operations to improve rendering consistency across devices, but what’s here is working for my purposes. if there’s interest, I may develop further. Other models, more swatches, that kind of thing 🙂
  9. You may be right, there. FH116000 onwards had the simpler rear numberplate light on non US models. I am not ready to google "booble" lights quite yet, for fear of what I uncover.
  10. Sharing the above so someone wiser than me can call it, but I think the matte black plastic door handle shown in the external shot replaced the all chrome units from 1976, suggesting this is a 1500.
  11. Here's a screen cap if that helps, and a promo shot showing the interior
  12. I'd love one that looked like this. Darker colours seem to really flatter those curves.
  13. Well, its a project of sorts... I've been toying with colourways, and made this tool to help visualise different palettes on our cars. Offered without warranty as to accuracy of colour (all screens vary, Macs, Windows PCs, mobiles all disagree regards rendering) but its maybe a bit of fun to play with: https://arallsopp.github.io/colouriser/
  14. Thanks @thescrapman. Nothing except geography, and such triflings shouldn't be a constraint for an RBRR entrant 🙂. I'll make my way to his later in the week.
  15. Howdo. I'm one of your reservists (second driver for CT member @Rob Dickinson as the other half of team Rob and Andy). Rob signed up yesterday through a form that implied only the primary needed to be a CT member, but I'm struggling to reach the form at https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/rbrr/how-to-enter from my machine to join him as a team mate. I just see: Any idea on what I'm misunderstanding? Cheers, Andy.
