I have 1 pair of wing mirrors, in lovely condition for sale £40 . Slight water mark from storage across one but doesn’t affect the view. Can collect either from Cannock in Staffordshire, Tattershall Bridge in Lincolnshire, could take them to RBRR drivers meeting or can post at cost of £5

Maybe Dave at Canley
classics may be able to advise
he’s always helpful 👍

Hi Andy, The Dolomite is now spot on checked it against satnav on border raiders 👍 the new wheels and tyres must be just right
Mabel however reads 10 miles faster than she’s going. So is about right for a herald lol 😊

Great I did think they are genuine 👍
a competition clutch would be at least an available option for future reference

So sorry to hear of your illness. Wishing you all the best
take care x

Thanks Clive, I also suppose that most eBay listings show a generic photo, which simply is a representation of the item being offered

I doubt it, , it is marketed as a high performance rally clutch so it will appear different to a normal clutch. anyway no one has to buy anything they’re not sure about it’s just an option to consider.
we all try to help each other when possible, it’s the right thing to do as our cars become harder to get parts for. It’s Not a compulsory purchase

If you have one of the following surnames in your family lineage you may well be descended from a Border Reiver:
Armstrong; Beattie, Bell and Burn. Carr, Charlton, Collingwood. Cranston and Crozier. Dacre, Davison, Dixon, Douglas and Dodd. Elliot, Fenwick and Forster. Graham, Gray and Grey. Hall, Hedley and Heron. Laidlawand Little. Middlemass, Milburn and Moffat. Nixon and Noble. Ogle and Oliver. Potts and Pringle. Reed, Ridleyand Robson. Routledge, Rowell and Rutherford. Scott, Shaftoe, Stokoe and Storey. Tait and Thompson. Trotterand Turnbull, Widdrington, Yarrow and Young.
The above are just some of the surnames, many of which are still common throughout North East England and the Scottish Borders, that were associated with Border Reiving in times gone by.
I copied this off the Website - Is your surname on the list ?
Mr Charlton definitely has questions to answer as do we - our surname is Robson !
That explains a lot 😂😂

Just been looking back at photos of previous years, 2015 was our first in the Spitfire (engine failure on day 2) then missed a couple, did 2018 and 2019 with the kids in the Dolomite. Then 2021 was the first successful run in the Spitfire. Last year, back in the Dolomite and this year a partially successful run for the Spitfire.
See you next year Sam and Andie x

Not taken mine in yet, but I know this company as I used to take water pumps to be reconditioned back in the 80’s when I was a van driver for a car components outlet, they’re very good and they have been in business for ever and they guarantee the repair for life I believe 👍

All packed up ready to set off on another great Border Raiders, see you all at Lancaster
hope the M6 isn’t too congested, might try a few ‘A’ roads along the way

Great we will meet you at Lancaster on Friday, look forward to enjoying a great event and making new friends along the way, we will be in a bright yellow Dolomite, Shawn and Lynne in either his Tr4a or more likely his lovely Herald convertible, Kevin and Lucy in their red Spitfire and Gus and Jo also in a red Spitfire and Chris, Steve and Liz in a red Mk1 2000 and maybe Ray and Jill also in a pale yellow Dolomite 😊

Hi Sam GL4 Ep90 oil for the diff. These diffs are notoriously leaky , most Triumphs drop a bit if diff oil. If you could video the noise and post on the forum it might give us all a bit more clue what it may be, hope someone can get to the bottom of it 😊

Don’t know where you are but there are a couple of carburettor refurbishers I can recommend, Alan Fielding at carb care in Lichfield Staffordshire 01543 305160. Or Andrew Turner at Turner Carbs in Colsterworth, Lincolnshire 01476 660555 hope this may help

Just a quick reminder about this lovely day
reduced entry to the museum or just arrive in your triumph before 10 am and park near the runway where WW2 aircraft taxi behind
