  1. thanks for the advice, got the job done today and opted to unbolt the halfshafts and push them upwards out of the way. That made the job quite straightforward
  2. That's great thanks, so i might be unbolting my half shafts again
  3. Is there a trick to fitting the rear section of the handbrake cable, in particular getting the threaded section through the curved guides? thanks
  4. Intersting car, whats going on with the oil cooler lines? Mine has a saloon engine with twin HS4’s but no bulge in the bonnet, I also had mine up for 2.5k less and needs less work than that, prices are all over the place :-/
  5. Been driving the GT6 again recently and I need to get these lights sorted, does this wiring diagram look right Aside from the fact it shows four headlights :)
  6. Cheers, so 155/70/13 would suit, the car is a gt6 on standard 4 1/2” steel rims
  7. Looking at replaceing my ageing tyres for more modern ones, currently fitted with 155/13’s but need to know tge best sidewall profile, or any recommendations for makes etc, Thanks
  8. rotoflex wrote:Good selection of heater to put in the car for the operation!  An open filament resistance heater or quartz heater could be a fire hazard. Yeah it worked brilliantly as it was radiated heat, not direct. With the old duvets and blankets over the window holes it was really hot in there too
  9. Heres some pics of mine, from Paddocks. Quality is good and I had just enough to do the A and B pillars, plus a slither under the rear windows. I used bulldog clips to hold it, and left the oil filled heater in the car for around 2 hours to get the headliner warm so I could pull out all the creases, then glued
  10. I would replace it just because, you need imperial fittings, 7/16 I think
  11. Cheers guys, thats fantastic, I’ll get on it
  12. So my GT6 headlights are dreadfull, whats the best option for upgradeing, and is there much needed to make it work? Thanks
  13. Been fitting up new rear slave cylinders to my roto GT6, now am I right in thinking they should be free to silde back and forth and if so why would they then have a metal pipe fitted to them and not a flexi, thanks
  14. been stripping my seats today and althouh my foam is still in one piece, it might be best to replace them, are the parklane ones up to the job, they are a lot cheaper....
  15. cool, thats cleared up my latest problem too
