You can adjust the side windows by adding washers & other things (don't ask me how i know !) I've also got 2 cloth's (if i say this right) between the frame and the side bits of the softtop, just in case ! Cheers for A) advice B) Not laughing at my daft question I'll wind the windows down and tuck the flappy bit in then, was getting a bit miffed at having to pop the first stud off and on every time I wound window up  ;D Muppet
  2. The vinyl roof on a spitfire has a "flappy" bit, for want of a better description, around the drivers and passenger window. Does this "flappy bit" stay inside the window when shut as I thought it might be to keep nasty air bourne water particles out but every pic I have seen thus far shows it tucked away, would this not lead to me being able to bathe whilst taking a spit for a spin in sunny Manchester???? Apologies for the lameness of this Q but all my newer cabriolets have had molded (I original spelled moulded what a tit) rubber stops that the windows butt up to to keep rain out?

Also helps with problem solving as all electricals aren't on 3 fuses. I believe on the triumphspitfire website theres a stock fuse guide so you can see which each fuse operates. Cheers, don't suppose Mr Wimpus has a nice step by step "clowns guide" to doing this do you chief?  :)
  4. My wipers and "air con" system have been playing up for the couple of hours I've had the spitfire, peculiarly the rev counter stopped working at the same time and started at the same time as the heater and wipers kicked in again???? This must be coincidence no? Anyhow, are there any tips and tricks for keeping a nice connection on these old skool fuses?
