  1. I was thinking of seam welding the rear wings to the inner wings is this best?
  2. Ok I will do it after welding and painting. Thanks a lot for your help.
  3. I am currently restoring a triumph spitfire 1500 and wondered if I should waxoyl the rear inner wings before welding new outer wings to them or should do this after the outer wings are attached? Thanks
  4. I am a new club member and am currently restoring a spitfire 1500. I am currently rebuilding the rear end, the car was part restored when I acquired it. When fitting the rear valance there is a gap each side of 5mm, has anyone come across this problem before? I was thinking about filling the gap with a thin piece of metal on one end and flattening the lip on the other end, would this be the best way to go about it?
