I have wilwood dynalite 4 pots on my stag and recently drove a standard stag, it was noticeably different and scared the BJesus out of me a couple of times, I guess its what you are used to but I know what i would rather have. Cheers Steve
Are you bolting on the timing cover when you get the block faced and having that done at the same time, there will be a step in the head gasket if you don't.
I would think an electrical fault as it should't be able to engage in 2nd due to the inhibitor switch, I would suspect the inhibitor switch is sticking. Or on other words what mad mart suggested :-) Cheers Steve
A friend of mine has had a real work of art custom made for his stag, all 2" with an "X" pipe type crossover and straight through boxes, wasn't cheep though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7zaU-MJMGI Cheers Steve
Andy they are 2 sets of tr7 California spec manifolds that have been adapted to fit the v8.you can still get some if you search for long enough in fact I know of at least 3 single manifold that were for sale recently but they were asking big money. Cheers Steve
Mike ,iI have a Wideband sensor fitted to my carb set up and its very useful ,I thought that bit of my efi was sorted until i realised the controler didnt have a datalog output for the ecu so i had to shell out for another one that did. My setup so far for my unfinished efi has Bosch 3 19lb injectors,MS2 ecu,LS2 COP's,twin throttle body off a omega. Cheers Steve
Would be a lot harder to try and do it in situ as the back mounting plate bolts to the rear diff cover ,can't see it being doable without removing the diff but i might be wrong. If you have a leak try making sure the breather is clear first by wiggaling the pin sticking out of it. Cheers steve

That brill Mike thanks,i already have the bmw servo and M/C sitting in my shed.I know of a few fitted to autos but you are the first i know off to fit it to a manual and was wondering if it was easily do-able,doesn't sound too bad. Cheers Steve
mikew wrote: If you are after a stag master cylinder I have one in my pile of bits that you are welcome to, drop me a pm with your address and Ill stick it in the post. It was working Ok when removed - I fitted a bmw servo and master cylinder to my stag - reduces the pedal effort for Anne. Mike did you have to move the clutch M/C over to fit the bmw servo in? Cheers Steve
