  1. I rubbish with electrics and I upgraded to a modern fuse box there is a guide somewhere, its not a big job and can be reversed.
  2. Thanks for diagram gives me something to work with  :P
  3. replacing buttons should make a difference if there perished, will never be like new but I guess it depends how bad the spring is.
  4. Thats looks very nice. I'm planning on running two corsa fans and have already fitted the larger rad, I'm relatively lost when it comes to relays and electrical stuff so will have to have a read up.
  5. Ah won't be any good to you MK1 Spit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-HERALD-SPITFIRE-MK1-REAR-DIFF-DIF-STANPART-V2734-/171069926832?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27d48fedb0
  6. What car do you have? noticed there is a used diff on fleabay at the moment.
  7. Any one pop up a simple diagram of how this would work? would be a massive help to the novice such as myself.  :)
  8. Hi I would do a search plenty of info on this. I'm after a sender switch majig myself that comes on at correct temp. I think it's a case of using one designed for another car rather than an off the shelf thing.
  9. Have changed brakes on modern cars and gone straight to MOT before no problems.
  10. Quote:I am Anglian Triumph Services, so I can get most things at good prices, having been trading for 25 years Had my car in a few years ago, probably will need more work once she's back on the road.
  11. I wasn't aware that they carried any large structural importance same for the rear wings, but i'm no expert on the matter.

  13. Quote:On the subject of other seats, I have just been to school for three days with work, and we have a few smart cars (for our customers mainly to use when they drop trucks off with us) Anyway, they have small size seats, so they may be an option for a spit, they are quite small in width, and quite low. Also they have an integrated seat belt into the seat. The only downside for me, they feel a little too firm, perhaps because the cars are still quite new. But I suppose they could be softened up like Marcus has done. Just thought I'd give you another idea, cheers   From any Smart car? seem quite cheap on flea bay, doubt it will be long until someone gives it a go. Backs look very high though.
  14. I'm in the process of fitting some after market seats, they were originally fitted on the runners supplied but sat too high. I am trying to fit them on the original spit runners which is going ok and saves over an inch in height will try and get some pics up when i'm done.
