  1. Follow up on my post, phoned the tech department at Accuspark and they had sent the wrong coil,  the ebay add was wrong The guy recommended keeping the ballast resistor and they would send out a blue 1.5 ohm coil. Hope to get it fitted this weekend
  2. I have also just got Accuspark kit ignition, coil, and leads and was listed for Ballast ignition only. Went to fit today but the instructions say a 1.5 ballast blue coil should be used but it came with a 3ohms red coil. Went on there web site and it looks like you can bypass the ballast and use the 3 Ohm coil. Has anyone done this or is it best to keep the Ballast and get a 1.5 coil
  3. The 5mm spacer i thought i put in the slave had fell out and was under the car. Tried again and bingo got a clutch. Thanks for all the help guys. Only had car a week and learned loads
  4. Thanks for the advice guys. Put a 5 mm spacer in the slave to give more travel no diffrence. Starter  removed arm moving forward. R un out of time, have a better look on friday.
  5. Never thought of that. Try tommorrow. thanks
  6. took of slave cylinder and pressed pedal and piston is moveing. Put back in as far forward as the bolt will allow but no diffrence. Looks like i am going to have to start again. Any more ideas to check? .
  7. Hi hope someone can help. Fitted a new clutch at the weekend  to mark 4 spitfire. Followed the advice i got and all seemed to go as planned till i tried to engage gear. First wont go, reverse crunched but didnt go in. Blead the clutch still no joy. Clutch action feels normal. Only thing i can think is the plate is round the wrong way. Any advice would be grateful
